Our Christmas Eve worship service is Tuesday, December 24th at 5PM. We long to celebrate the birth of Jesus the Messiah together. Please join us on Christmas Eve and we encourage you to invite a friend! 

 

Our final offering will be next Sunday, December 29th. All credit card and online donations for 2024 should be made by this Thursday, December 26th. Any contribution sent through the US mail must be post-marked by December 31st. This is true regardless of the date on the check. Also, all check requests and accompanying receipts for 2024 must be turned into the office by December 31st to be reimbursed for 2024. Questions can be directed to Linda Conrad.

 

Thursday mornings from 9-11 AM starting January 9th. We will study Seeking Him: Experience the Joy of Personal Revival by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth and Tim Grissom. Childcare is provided through age 5. The cost is $15. Registration is required and can quickly be done in the online bulletin using this link. Please register by next Sunday, December 29th.

 

Tuesday evenings at church from 7:00-8:30 PM starting January 7th and then every other Tuesday. We will continue the study of Habakkuk by Lydia Brownbeck started in September. Please contact Mary Lynne to register.

 

We will be taking a special offering for Compassion Childcare at the 5pm Christmas Eve Service. Compassion Childcare exists to bring hope to low-income families in Sioux Falls through empowerment, education, and emulating Christ. These gifts fund the entire year of Compassion Preschool with our church first and the excess will go to the daycare. Please consider giving on Christmas Eve to this special organization. Please write your check to FEFC and put “Compassion Childcare” in the check memo.

 

The annual Mexico Mission Trip with “For the Fame of His Name” or FFHN is scheduled for January 31st - February 8th in 2025. Emphasis will be on evangelism and encouragement. Please contact Barry Termaat at 605-359-6819 with interest or questions. 

 

All middle school youth group students are encouraged to register for Winter Blast! Join us February 7th-9th at Hidden Acres. The cost is $100 and includes transportation, lodging, and meals. The registration deadline is January 16th. Please see the online bulletin to sign up.

 

There are many unclaimed items in the lost and found. The lost and found cabinet is located outside of the Fellowship Hall. Be sure to open the doors and look below to see if anything belongs to you! The last day to pick up items is Monday, December 30th.
