Fall Kick-Off — Sept 8th
Join us on Sunday, September 8th to celebrate the start of our fall ministries. We will gather for an extended time of church-wide fellowship. Lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall while inflatables and games will be outside by the playground. Hope to see you there!
Fall Sunday School
Sunday School begins on Sunday, September 8th. We offer grade specific Sunday School for children ages 2 years old through high school in the downstairs classrooms.

College & Career Class
Teachers: Mike Austin & Jon Walker
This class is for college students and beyond. It includes a discussion of the morning's sermon along with some short biographical looks at Christian philosophers.
Thursday AM Men’s Group
We will begin meeting again weekly starting on September 12th around 6:15am. Sign-up and books available on the cabinets by the windows in the café area. We will be using two books for the next two years:
- Concise Theology by J. I. Packer ($13.50)
- The Righteous Shall Live by Faith: Romans by R. C. Sproul ($25).
Church Picnic
Our last Church picnic of the summer will take place at 6pm on Sunday, August 25th. We will gather at Lower Tuthill Park. This meal is held in place of our normal Sunday evening service. Tableware and beverages are provided, but everyone is asked to bring an entree to share, as well as a side based on your last name: (A-K= Dessert; L-Z= Salad /Appetizer.)
Youth Group Parent Meeting
All Youth Group parents are invited to join us in the youth room next Sunday, Sept. 1st at 10:30AM. We will pray over and discuss the upcoming school year with youth ministry. (FYI - An Apex update will be given on Sept. 29th.)
Summer Reading Challenge
The summer reading challenge is complete. Please help your children fill out their reading logs and turn them into the library in room 102 by Sunday, August 25th. Thank you.
Opportunities to Serve
This fall, we have a need for attenders to serve. If you’re interested in any of the following areas, please reach out to Tanner Mans. Thank you!
- Awana: We need one more high school helper to serve in cubbies. We also need an Awana game leader.
- Children’s Christmas Program: We are still looking for an individual to lead the program.
