We will begin meeting again weekly starting on September 12th around 6:15am. Signup and books available on the cabinets by the windows in the café area.We will be using two books for the next two years:

• Concise Theology by J. I. Packer ($13.50)
• The Righteous Shall Live by Faith: Romans by R. C. Sproul ($25).

 

• Thursday mornings from 9-11AM starting September 5th. We will study the book of Jonah by Lydia Brownbeck. The cost is TBD based on the purchasing resource. We will pass along savings if ordered in advance. Childcare is provided through age 5. The book is available for $14 on Amazon if you prefer to purchase it; otherwise, please register by Sunday, August 18th, if you want Women's Ministries to order. Register HERE.

• Tuesday evenings at church from 7:00-8:30 PM starting September 10th and then every other Tuesday. We will study the book of Habakkuk by Lydia Brownbeck. All Youth Group parents are invited to join us in the youth room on Sunday, Sept. 1st at 10:30AM. We  will pray over and discuss the upcoming school year with youth ministry. (FYI - An Apex update will be given on Sept. 29th.)

 

 

Join us on Sunday, September 8th to celebrate the start of our fall ministries. We will gather for an extended time of church-wide fellowship. Lunch will be served in the Fellowship Hall while inflatables and games will be outside by the playground. Hope to see you there!

 

 

This fall, we have a need for attenders to serve. If you’re interested in any of the following areas, please reach out to Tanner Mans. Thank you!

• Children's Ministry: we need an adult to teach Sunday School worship for 3rd-6th grade.
• Awana: We need adults to serve with all Awana clubs but especially with the Sparks K-2 program. An Awana game leader is also needed. 
• Children’s Christmas Program: we are still looking for an individual to lead the program.

 

The summer reading challenge is coming to an end. Please help your children fill out their reading logs and turn them into the library (room 102) by August 25th. Thank you.

 

We are collecting school supplies for our next packing party in October. Donated items may be placed inside the large green and red box near the church sliding doors. Please also consider signing up for a couple of OCC events: the Project Leader Workshop is on Saturday, September 7th. There are two shifts to setup and clean up. Also please consider signing up for the Packing Party on Saturday, October 12th. Thanks!

 

 

Our last Church picnic of the summer will take place at 6pm on Sunday, August 25th. We will gather at Lower Tuthill Park. This meal is held in place of our normal Sunday evening service. Tableware and beverages are provided, but everyone is asked to bring an entree to share, as well as a side based on your last name: (A-K= Dessert; L-Z= Salad /Appetizer.)
