With Pastor Donn Hill – Fellowship Hall – Begins today! What are the theological convictions of our denomination, the Evangelical Free Church of America? Where do these convictions come from? Pastor Donn will unpack the biblical foundation of each of the ten points from the Statement of Faith of the Evangelical Free Church of America.

 

With Youth Pastor Tanner Mans – Youth Room – This is a class for all ages. We are walking through questions in the “New City Catechism.” Our time together also aims to help parents continue discipling their families in these truths throughout the rest of the week.

 

June — Join us on Tuesday, June 18th, for a fun evening of dinner fellowship and swimming (optional). We are having a salad dinner and swimming night at Elena Cook's (2512 S Roosevelt Circle) starting at 6:00 PM. Bring a favorite summer salad, fruit, veggies, cheese and crackers, a chair, and a towel. We hope you will bring a friend or meet a new one!

 

July — Save the date for a friendship night and potluck at Beth Dryden's pool on Tuesday, July 16th.

 

August — We can't wait to see you on Thursday, August 8th, for another wonderful friendship night at Jean Bender's. 

 

 

VBS runs from July 21st-July 25th from 6pm-8:30pm at First E Free. Children ages 3 to 5th grade are invited to attend. Please call the office at 605-338-2077 to register. 

 

 

A special thank you to all the youth group students that deeply cleaned areas of the church on Wednesday, June 12th. Students vacuumed and cleaned all of the green chairs in the sanctuary and the fellowship hall. They also cleaned the tile grout in the bathrooms & the kitchen!

 

On Wednesday, June 26^th the YG will spend a day at Valleyfair! We will depart from church at 7AM and arrive back to church around 11PM/12AM. Cost is $50. This is open to all incoming 6^th graders - graduated seniors. Students are to RSVP to Tanner by June 23rd. Adults are needed to drive students and to chaperone - if you are interested, please contact Tanner ASAP (your admission and meals will be covered). 

 

All incoming 6th graders - graduated seniors are invited to YG on Wednesday night for a hike and Bible Study at Beaver Creek Nature Area. The address is 48351 264th St Valley Springs, SD 57068. The evening will be from 6:30-8:30PM. Students are to bring their Bible, a water bottle, and bug spray. If the weather allows, we'll have a fire and s'mores.
