Thursday mornings from 9-11 AM starting January 4, 2024. We will study Stewarding the Faith: An Inductive Study of the book of 1 Timothy by Sophron Studies. The apostle Paul instructed Timothy to steward the faith and guard the good deposit for the glory of God. Paul instructs the church, the household of God, how to behave to display truth. He also warns of false teaching, which is applicable today. Study to see the richness of encouragement, warnings, and instructions that apply to all Christians. The cost is $11. Childcare is provided through age 5 (connect with Mary Lynne if you have older kids). Please register online by 12/17/23!

 

 

Next year we will be celebrating 25 years of partnership in Mexico missions with For the Fame of His Name. Our 2024 trip to the Petlapixca area is scheduled for March 8-16. If you are interested in serving as part of the team, please contact Amy Sharp. 

 

“SCUBA: Diving Into Friendship With God” Vacation Bible School will happen at First E Free on Sunday, July 21st through Thursday, July 25th from 6:00pm-8:30pm. Ages 3 through 5th grade are invited. VBS registration will open in the spring for those who attend our church, Westside Christian, or Compassion Childcare. Registration then opens to friends in the community in the early summer. For our record keeping we appreciate all credit card and online donations to be made by December 26, 2023. We record them in our system on the date they are deposited to our account. Contributions sent through the US mail must be postmarked by Dec 31, 2023. That is true regardless of the date on the check. Compassion Childcare exists to bring hope to low-income families in Sioux Falls through empowerment, education, and emulating Christ.
