Please join us 12/10/23 for our Second Sunday Potluck. We are having a brunch theme, and we will eat in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30am. See you there!

 

 

Thursday mornings from 9-11 AM starting January 4, 2024. We will study Stewarding the Faith: An Inductive Study of the book of 1 Timothy by Sophron Studies. The apostle Paul instructed Timothy to steward the faith and guard the good deposit for the glory of God. Paul instructs the church, the household of God, how to behave to display truth. He also warns of false teaching, which is applicable today. Study to see the richness of encouragement, warnings, and instructions that apply to all Christians. The cost is $11. Childcare is provided through age 5 (connect with Mary Lynne if you have older kids). Please register online by 12/17/23.

 

 

A 2-week long Sunday School class begins 12/10/23 in the Fellowship Hall. Pastor Dan will be teaching on the genealogy of Jesus, helping us rejoice more deeply in the birth of Christ. Two new adult Sunday School classes will begin in January. Jeff Burch will be teaching on Ephesians in the Fellowship Hall while Pastor Dan will be teaching on The Lord's Prayer downstairs in Room 109. 

 

 

 

Just a reminder that Middle School and High School students are invited to enjoy Christmas at the Nora Store on 12/10/23. We will depart at 2:15pm from the church. A sack lunch style dinner will be provided and we will arrive back to the church before 6pm. We will stay for the children’s Christmas program, and will serve cookies afterwards. Thank you.

 

 

Our whole church family is encouraged to attend the Christmas Program at 6pm on 12/10/23. The preschoolers will share a few songs before our elementary school kids perform the musical Good News Ahead. Prelude music performed by musicians from our congregation will begin around 5:30pm. The program will be followed by a cookie reception in the Fellowship Hall. 

 

 

Next year we will be celebrating 25 years of partnership in Mexico missions with For the Fame of His Name. Our 2024 trip to the Petlapixca area is scheduled for March 8-16. If you are interested in serving as part of the team, please contact Barry Termaat. 

 

 

Thanks to our volunteers for helping with Operation Christmas Child this year. We are so thankful for all the time, donations, food, and equipment that we utilized to make this a success. We collected 485 boxes from our church this year. What a blessing for children all over the world.

 

 

A huge thank you to all who donated to the AWANA store. We took in a lot of items and the clubbers are excited for shopping. Thank you again.
