FEFC Youth Ministry Vision:

The FEFC Youth Ministry's purpose is to come alongside the parents of FEFC in discipling their Junior High and Senior High age children. We do this by calling young people to be lifelong disciples of Jesus and committed members of his church. More specifically, we provide consistent and relevant bible teaching, purposeful relationships with more mature disciples within the church, effective service and outreach opportunities, and fun community-building times together.

Fall Weekly Schedule for Youth

Sunday School

After the main service, all 6-12 graders are welcome to hang out in the youth room until Sunday School begings at 10:30. We will gather together at 10:30 for a few quick announcements before the 6-8 graders depart for their classes.

Senior High Sunday School

Sunday School is our opportunity to take a deep dive into different parts of our Bible. The entire hour is dedicated to bible teaching mean to deepen each High Schooler's understanding of God, ourselves, God's word, and the gospel.

Junior High Youth Group

Grades 6-8 are all welcome on Wednesdays Nights from 6:30 to 8pm.

We meet downstairs in the youth room. A typical night begins with games and snacks. Around 7pm we settle in for a lesson. After the lesson, we break up into groups based on grade and gender. These groups are led by adult volunteers and are meant to give each student a deeper understanding of how God's word guides their life and the life of the community around them.

Senior High Youth Group

Grades 9-12 are all welcome on Sunday Nights from 5:45 to 7:15pm.

This follows a similar format the as the Jr High Group and also meets downstairs in the youth room. Besides snacks and games, we occasionally set aside time to worship the Lord together through song. After this, there is a lesson before we break up into small groups. In these groups, we are able to wrestle more personally with the ways God's word is teaching and guiding us.
